The museum would include displays of particular interest to children about their
forefathers.
The permanent exhibition area would include displays of embroideries, costumes,
jewelry, pottery, household items, photographs and religious objects.
The museum library would include research material regarding entry to America, and
genealogical records. Documents would include newspapers, books, magazines, and
manuscripts.
The Oral History Department would include vignettes of our elders, speaking about their
lives.
The Music Library wills emphasis the early music of the immigrants.
The role of the ethnic organizations will be displayed, showing their value to the life
of the Greek American.
The role of the Greek Orthodox Church and Greek Schools will be explored.
A space for concerts, dance recitals, lectures, receptions and
art exhibits will be included.
A gift shop will feature unique items related to the museum will be established.
