The Rationale

Why a Greek Museum, the Center for Greek American Heritage?

There is no Greek museum in existence in the area that contains information about the Greek immigrant experience in America.

As the generations develop, valuable information is displaced , depleted and permanently destroyed. Tangible objects, such as pictures, books, artifacts, records, and embroideries, are being lost.

The museum would awaken public awareness to the contributions of the Greek immigrants in business, politics, labor, theatre, medicine, education, Law, the food industry, sports, journalism and the arts.
